So my photography has always been a searching kind of thing. My photography professors always wanted collections of work that went together and I did it, but it never felt right for me.
I don’t really know what photography is for me but I feel it an emotional observation of the world around me. A collection of things uncollectable; the lines a shadow makes on pavement, angles of crooked pictures on a wall, squinty shapes of cats eyes, rough texture of brick. I could just stare for hours at those aspects of ordinary things that people overlook. Those things give me warm fuzzies inside.
I suppose I just got my photography statement.
Check out my latest shot. I love the detail. The texture of his feathers is just exquisite.
